The Wellington Shire Youth Council is once again holding the Upswing Youth Festival – promoting positive mental health. They are wanting to have as many organisations, clubs and services that work with young people in Wellington there sharing their work and who they are, by running some type of interactive activity.
Youth Councillors have been busy contacting groups and clubs and getting them on board, and ask you, as service providers, if you would like to join them. Ron from Maxima wishes to get wet … what could you do?
Upswing is being held on the area between the Wedge and the Wellington Centre on Friday 5 October between 11am and 3pm. This is the last Friday of the school holidays. Buses will be running from Yarram and maybe Heyfield/Rosedale/Maffra/Stratford/Lochsport. There will be a live music stage run by FReeZA group Propellor, food vans, entertainment, an under 25s Makers Market and more.
If you’d be interested in being a part of this day and promoting your service, please contact Meg Capurso at firstname.lastname@example.org or on 5142 3044.
